Voice-operated smart home devices
Voice-operated smart home devices, e.g. smart speakers provide a variety of different functionalities to users: They initiate desired actions, control other smart home or IoT devices, playback audio and enable room-to-room intercommunication. Therefore, voice recognition, speech communication, as well as audio quality of smart home devices must meet the user´s expectation – regardless of the room and background noise situation. Testing these aspects requires appropriate measurement and simulation technology. |

ANC headphones Headsets
Customer expectations for ANC headphones & headsets are constantly increasing: The systems are supposed to individually adapt the audio experience to the surrounding, block out unwanted background noises, but still allow hearing of important announcements at train stations or in planes with reduced background noise. At the same time, they must consistently ensure excellent sound quality and clear hands-free calls. |
