ArtemiS SUITE 18.0. New Analysis Methods, Enhanced Automation, and More Efficient Development Processes

HEAD acoustics continues to optimize its modular software platform for the analysis of sound and vibrations. It adds several new modules and extensions and introduces a significantly more user-friendly UI along with further improvements to file handling and language support, among others.

With ArtemiS SUITE 18.0, HEAD acoustics introduces the next evolution of its universal software platform for measuring, analyzing, evaluating, and optimizing sound and vibrations. The new version expands the software with innovative analysis methods, additional automation capabilities, and numerous enhancements designed to make day-to-day work in NVH and sound quality development even more efficient.

ArtemiS SUITE supports users throughout the development process, from data acquisition through signal processing and analysis to evaluation, documentation, and efficient reporting. Thanks to its modular design, the software can be tailored to individual requirements and scales flexibly to accommodate new tasks. Users benefit from a unified user interface, project-oriented workflows, and close integration across disciplines such as acoustics, psychoacoustics, structural dynamics, and transfer path analysis.

New Analysis Methods

A key focus of ArtemiS SUITE 18.0 is on newly integrated analysis methods. With Spectral Audio Features, users have access to powerful spectral algorithms that provide valuable insights, particularly for sound characterization, the development of customer-specific metrics, and the training of AI-based models.

Also new is the direct implementation of LEAP analysis (Listening Effort Prediction from Acoustic Parameters), which enables the instrumental assessment of perceived listening effort, for example, in speech communication systems, vehicle interiors, or public address systems. LEAP can be used to estimate the listening effort of visitors in a train station based on standard announcements without having access to the talker’s original speech signal.

More Efficient Automation

In addition, HEAD acoustics is expanding its automation capabilities. The new Structural Analysis – Model Updating API enables the automated coupling of simulation and testing within automated model calibration processes. Simulated and measured mode shapes can be compared automatically; the results can be transferred directly to model optimization tools without manual intervention and further processed there.

Blocked Forces

For users of transfer path analysis, ArtemiS SUITE 18.0 also provides automatic report generation for blocked force analyses in accordance with ISO 20270:2019, significantly reducing the documentation effort and facilitating the standardized exchange of results among development partners.

IRIG 106 Chapter 10

Integration with existing measurement and test environments has also been further expanded. With support for IRIG 106 Chapter 10 (ASP 708), analog telemetry data streams can be integrated directly into the recorder, enabling existing measurement infrastructures, particularly in the aerospace sector, to be seamlessly integrated into the ArtemiS SUITE workflow

Further Usability Improvements

At the same time, numerous fundamental improvements to the user interface, new search and configuration functions, and expanded automation options ensure significantly more efficient use of the software. The new design improves navigation and usability while maintaining the familiar workflows that users have come to rely on.

How People Hear

For 40 years, HEAD acoustics has combined scientific research with practical development. This expertise is particularly evident in the comprehensive psychoacoustic analysis methods based on the Sottek hearing model developed by HEAD acoustics, which are used worldwide for research and development.

One software solution for all applications

With ArtemiS SUITE 18.0, HEAD acoustics underscores its commitment to providing powerful tools for all acoustic and vibration-related challenges in modern product development, ranging from instrumental analysis and perceptual noise evaluation to highly automated measurement and analysis workflows, as well as simple, powerful reporting. With more than 150 analysis methods, ArtemiS SUITE offers a unique combination of technological depth, technical breadth, and intuitive usability.
