HEAD acoustics: New Subsidiary in India

HEAD acoustics successfully opened its new subsidiary HEAD acoustics India in August 2022 despite delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The four-member team, led by President Manjula Srinivas, has since been providing comprehensive customer support directly in India. On the occasion of the first board meeting of HEAD acoustics GmbH in India, company founder and shareholder Prof. Dr. Klaus Genuit and commercial director Stephan Noth warmly congratulated her and her team on site in the new premises on the successful start.

India – a large future market

The new offices are located in Chennai in the province of Tamil Nadu, a city with a population of over 4.5 million and one of the three largest automotive manufacturing centers in India.
Until now, acoustic issues have received far less attention in all industrial sectors in India than in Europe or North America, for example. For the new Indian crew, the main task is therefore to sensitize industry partners to psychoacoustic phenomena and to the huge optimization potential in all fields of application that HEAD acoustics can exploit with its own software and hardware solutions. HEAD acoustics sees this consulting as the key to the large growth market of the future on this continent.
