Target group

The seminar is aimed at users who have already gained experience with ArtemiS SUITE.

Prerequisite

Basic knowledge of how to use the ArtemiS SUITE.

(Beginners are recommended to attend the training "Sound and Vibration Analysis with the ArtemiS SUITE" beforehand.)

Seminar Objectives

This training provides you with a deeper insight into the evaluation of speed signals and special analysis methods in ArtemiS SUITE. Learn how to optimally handle analyses of various reference variables such as speed or velocity so that you can use these effective tools in a targeted manner.

Among other things, various methods for the analysis of engine orders are presented. Here the focus is on the question which methods are suitable for special problems. In this context, we will also show you how you can use order filters to lower or raise the level of individual orders during playback in order to achieve your target sound.

Program:

Block RPM 1:

• The Decoder Project, decoding OBD, CAN and FlexRay data
• What is a control channel?
• Use of other reference variables in analyses, e.g. level vs. vehicle speed

Block RPM 2:

• Dealing with pulse channels
• Definition of pulse sensors in the recorder
• Decoding of pulse channels in the decoder project, e.g. for torsional vibration analysis

Block Order Analysis 1:

• Definition of the term order
• Limits for CAN/OBD/FlexRay based RPM measurement
• Basic settings of the order analysis                          

Block Order Analysis 2:

• The different calculation methods, when to take which?
• Order cuts
• Time Weighting

Our popular training program is available for you in an online format. What does that mean:

• Groups are limited to 10 participants
• A headset is required
• You can always ask questions

The online training is divided into thematic blocks. These blocks are 90 to 100 minutes long. Afterwards we assign tasks to the respective thematic block for independent work. During this time we are, of course, always available to answer questions. The division of the blocks can differ from online training to online training. We also offer the booking of individual topic blocks.
