Target group

The seminar is aimed at newcomers who want to get to know ArtemiS SUITE in a structured and logical way.

Prerequisite

Basic knowledge of data acquisition is an advantage.

(For this topic the training "Fundamentals of acoustic measurement and data acquisition" is available.)

Seminar Objectives

Here you get the ideal introduction to the versatile and flexible analysis software ArtemiS SUITE. You will get to know the philosophy, the program structure and the most important functions. The practical presentation will prepare you optimally for using this powerful tool.

Practical examples will give you a clear illustration of the targeted use of basic features.

Program:

Block Basic 1:

• Concept of the ArtemiS SUITE
• Customize the program interface
• Creating a Pool Project
• Use of the Mark-Analyzer for the presentation of results
• Playback and zoom functions

Block Basic 2:

• Settings for the diagram:
  • Configuration of the title and legend
  • Assigning line colors
  • Arrange several diagrams in a meaningful way
  • Presentation of the Data-Viewer for the representation of several measurements in one diagram
• Export of diagrams to PowerPoint®.
• Cutting of recordings, creation of marks

Bock Analysis 1:

• The basic analyses
  • Level over time, significance and use of weighting functions
  • Frequency analysis with the Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT): function and meaning of the different parameters, averaged FFT and FFT over time (3D diagram, Campbell plot)

Block Analysis 2:

• Continuation of basic analyses:
  • third-octave/n-th octave analyses
• Use of speed information in the basic analyses: level and FFT vs. RPM
• Basics of order analysis

Block Playback:

• Configuration of the player
• Online filtering: The different filter types, grouping filters, assigning filters to a Mark Analyzer

Block Statistics:

• Use of statistical functions in the statistics pool
• Differences between mark and channel statistics
• Creating tolerance schemes

Our popular training program is available for you in an online format. What does that mean:

• Groups are limited to 10 participants
• A headset is required
• You can always ask questions

The online training is divided into thematic blocks. These blocks are 90 to 100 minutes long. Afterwards we assign tasks to the respective thematic block for independent work. During this time we are, of course, always available to answer questions. The division of the blocks can differ from online training to online training. We also offer the booking of individual topic blocks.
