Realistic playback is essential for adequately evaluating product sound quality in a listening studio.

Our HPL active high precision speaker cabinet enables recorded sound to be played back with incredible accuracy. The speakers come very close to the perfect sound transducer and are ideal for equalized playback in listening studios. The results of hearing tests can thus be optimally evaluated. The realistic sound playback allows various scenarios to be run through interactively and any variations to be discussed with management.

The design is much sturdier than conventional wooden housings and virtually free of resonance and vibration. The front and rear panels are made from robust aluminum. The base contains additional spring damping.

The three-way speaker features high-quality, low-tolerance sound transducers and integrated amplifier modules. With more than 500 watts of power per channel, the maximum sound pressure for the system as a whole is 119 dB (A) with less than 3% non-linear distortion.

To adjust timbre to a specific listening studio, a custom equalization filter can be generated and installed on a labO2 – or labO2-V1 – high-quality equalizer.
