Face-to-face Trainings
The HEAD acoustics TrainingCenter offers a comprehensive range of courses and seminars – from the basics of data acquisition to signal analysis and product training. Here, beginners or career changers are introduced to the basics and experienced acoustics engineers are offered advanced and extension seminars. In addition to the theoretical background, extensive practical exercises are carried out.
Training Topics in Germany
Already when recording noises and vibrations, the possibilities and limits for subsequent processing and analysis are defined.
The one-day training course will highlight the areas relevant to data collection, from the sound field to the selection and conditioning of suitable sensors and front-ends to the efficient use of the recording software and the documentation of the recordings.
Practical exercises accompany you and illustrate the theoretical fundamentals of measurement technology and data acquisition.
Duration
One-day course
9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Target Group
The seminar addresses personnel in the field of technical acoustics and provides basic knowledge of data acquisition. This makes it ideal for newcomers from other disciplines and is also suitable for refreshing or stabilizing already existing knowledge.
In this two-day training you will receive the ideal introduction to the versatile and flexible analysis software ArtemiS SUITE. You will learn the philosophy, the program structure as well as the most important basics and functions. The practice-oriented presentation will prepare you for an optimal use of this powerful tool.
Using practical examples, you will get a clear impression of basic features.
This two-day training offers in-depth insight into special analysis methods in ArtemiS suite. Learn how to perform analyzes versus a variety of reference quantities such as RPM-values or vehicle speed.
Besides many other tools, different types of order analyzes are presented. Here the focus is on the question, which procedures fit to specific problems. In this context, we also show you how to use order filters to manipulate the level of specific orders during playback to achieve your target noise.
In addition, the training explains the benefits of special analysis methods which are, compared to a standard FFT, better suited for specific problems, e.g. for the analysis of low-frequency components of the time signal.
Another topic of the training is the structured documentation of measurement data and the creation of individual reports from the measurement results.
During the training, you will learn how to handle often-recurring tasks with the help of the new automation function of ArtemiS suite. You will learn how to combine a sequence of work steps in an automation project that linearly processes files or large amounts of data at the push of a button.
Beyond the fast and safe handling of the new designed automation environment, this training demonstrates the possibility of integrating the automation function into your own solutions using the programmable interface (API).
This one-day training will familiarize you with psychoacoustic fundamentals. You will learn how to use different psychoacoustic techniques and how to use them to work effectively in the areas of sound design, acoustic optimization, troubleshooting, and more.
Since subjective requirements of the customer are getting more important in the daily work of an acoustician, the focus of this training is on teaching practical solutions for both your individual applications and those of your customers
This one-day training covers the different possibilities of psychoacoustics.
Using sample sounds from practical examples, you will experience the benefit of psychoacoustic procedures. You will learn how to use filters to achieve a target sound and how to compare measurements based on psychoacoustic routines.
So-called Sound Quality Metrics are applied in automated evaluation and classification of sound patterns. Machine Learning approaches such as linear regression modelling are followed in order to establish these metrics as combinations of different (psycho-)acoustic descriptors.
This two-day seminar conveys safe access to the topic of Sound Quality Metric Development and insights into topics of Machine Learning in Acoustics.
Duration
Two-day course
9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Target Group
The seminar addresses noise and vibration engineers who want to get started with automated evaluation and classification of sound patterns with the help of Sound Quality Metrics.
Jury Testing has been established as a key methodology for evaluation of perceived sound quality in industry and research. The approach of jury testing provides essential information in product benchmarking and identification of potential for improvement.
This one-day seminar conveys safe access to the topic of jury test design, conduction of jury tests and jury test result evaluation.
Duration
One-day course
9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Target Group
The seminar addresses newcomers in the field of jury testing.
Individual Trainings
In addition to the ongoing seminar and training schedule, HEAD acoustics also offers courses that are individually tailored to the needs and wishes of the customer. In these individual training courses, the topics that are appropriate for your applications are selected from our extensive seminar program. Your tasks determine the training content, so that you receive a program tailored to your requirements.
