| Road Noise is resulting
from the contact of the rotating wheels (tires) and the
road and can generally be separated into an airborne and
a structure borne contribution. |
| The vehicle interior road
noise is, on one hand, influenced by the excitations that
depend e.g. upon the road surface and tires and may even
vary with tire pressure. On the other hand, the sound
transmission behavior of the vehicle, including the suspension
and body, also has a significant influence on the resulting
vehicle interior road noise. |
