Besides interior noise, vibration at the seat and the steering wheel has a great influence on the quality impression of a vehicle.
The method of    Binaural Transfer Path Analysis and Interior Noise Simulation (BTPA/BTPS) can also be used to calculate accelerations e.g. at the seat and the steering wheel induced from the powertrain or other sources.
Comparable to the simulation of the interior noise, this method reveals the origins of unwanted vibration and helps the engineer to distinguish between source or path related problems.

Furthermore the simulated vibration can be used to enhance the hearing sensation in the    HEAD SoundCar and    H3S Systems and thus makes the person feel immersed in the interactive driving situation.
