Ever heard of Digital Twins?

They are an important step towards a holistic virtual development, offering the possibility to create virtual models of vehicles and their subsystems.

These virtual models not only describe the dynamic behavior of such systems, but enable to predict the outcome of any system modifications – without the need to build physical prototypes.

Deployed in early stages of the development process, development cycles are shortened and costs reduced.

However, building a Digital Twin remains a key challenge. Both Experimental Modal Analysis (EMA) and Transfer Path Analysis (TPA) are pivotal in creating the required, highly precise simulation models.

  • TPA enables to identify the cause of disturbing noise and vibration, distinguish source-related from transfer path-related problems, estimate the acoustics potential of hardware modifications or benchmarking on component level.
  • EMA is widely employed in the field of structural dynamics - from understanding of the dynamic system behavior, evaluating system modifications to validating the corresponding simulation models. However, its execution remains primarily reliant on skilled experts.

Learn how the HEAD acoustics way is bringing the two disciplines closer together, and making them more accessible, reliable and efficient. Use Blocked Forces and talk cross company, between OEMs and suppliers, about the combined behaviors of parts and components or define product concept catalogue based on ISO 20270.

Enhance your EMA workflows with AI-based approaches – whether you are an expert or beginner.

Join us for insightful discussions, knowledge sharing, and the exploration of novel approaches to advance Digital Twin development in the automotive industry.
